It’s pretty awesome when my photography leads me to connecting with friends from the past. Julie and I went to Jr. High together and when she contacted me for a session, she didn’t know it was me (darn name changes!). I met her for the first time at her home for a wardrobe consultation and was happy to find her and I share similar styles and it was very easy to make choices. I love having input on the wardrobe because like I say, it can really make or break the images so I consider part of my job as a photographer to have knowledge to what colors, fabrics & textures will be photogenic. This family has 3 children under four and I can tell you from experience what a chaotic time of life that is, but I’m so happy they made family photos a priority:)
